Thanks to Jagan, the first few chapters of (an unknown number) on the Canberra in the IAF are now up on the Bharat Rakshak IAF website.

Bharat Rakshak abbreviated BR is an attempt to capture the history of the IAF, its’ men, machines and moments. A lot of people have contributed to the site but the chief maintainer today is of course Jagan Pillariseti.

The articles are here

Anyone who has any interest in the IAF Canberras is invited to join our community and leave comments on the blog.

I am especially interested in photographs and anecdotes by pilots, navigators, groundcrew or anyone associated with the Canberra in the IAF.

Please leave a comment with a “contact me” message and your e-mail will be transmitted to me (when you enter it for the comment) but will not be visible to the rest of the world if you so desire.

Please feel free to add your experiences by either e-mailing them to me or commenting on the site.

I have already established contact with a few people whose relatives flew Canberras - these include well know names within the Canberra community.

Last but not least, please feel free to comment on the articles.

Thanks

Anandeep Pannu
